Fees

London Veterinary Neurology (LVN) is structured around staged, consultant-led care. Fees reflect the time, expertise and ongoing clinical responsibility required for each step.

The model is aligned with private healthcare in human medicine. Clinical care is provided by Dr. Parker while imaging, anaesthesia, and hospitalisation are delivered by established partner hospitals.

Referrals typically begin with a consultation. Further investigations or treatments are recommended only when clinically indicated and are discussed with the client and referring vet at the point of care.

In most cases, professional fees and hospital facility fees are invoiced separately.

Hospital fees are set by partner practices and may vary depending on location, facilities and level of care required. They are discussed with the client by the host hospital and confirmed prior to admission or investigation.

  • Initial consultations are typically scheduled for up to 60 minutes to allow detailed assessment, discussion and decision-making. Follow-up consultations are typically scheduled for up to 30 minutes. In each case, a written report is provided to the referring vet.

    Home Visit £600

    Home visits are considered by request. They may take place at the client’s home or at a local veterinary practice and they are suited to patients for whom travel is difficult or where assessment in a familiar environment is beneficial.

  • Imaging review includes interpretation of CT or MRI studies performed at a partner hospital or external centre and a written report for the referring vet.

    MRI/CT Interpretation and Report £240

    Further consultation may be recommended if findings require clinical correlation.

  • CSF analysis is performed when indicated to support diagnosis of inflammatory, infectious or neoplastic disease.

    Collection is performed under general anaesthesia at a partner hospital. Laboratory fees and hospital charges are invoiced separately.

  • Surgical treatment is offered where indicated following diagnosis.

    Procedure-specific estimates are provided in advance once a treatment plan has been agreed.

  • For uncomplicated cases of intervertebral disc disease, LVN offers a single fixed-price surgical option. This includes consultation, CT, surgical procedure, hospitalisation for up to three nights and a single follow-up consultation.
